Holder. Nick Sharp qualified for his first Junior Olympics as
well as Sam Degroot 2 new cuts, Connor Knight 3 new cuts, William

NPB finished first in the Palm Beach County
8 & under Swimming Championship. NPB was lead by Nick

always the Largo swim meet proved to be one of NPB best swim meets of the
year. Sam Breatz was the high point winner for the 10 & under
boys. Alex Ladd and Allison Murphy qualified for the Sectional

NPB to host Top 16 Meet!
NPB swim club was awarded two
meets in 2006. NPB will host a County Sub-JO on May 6, 2006 and on
August 25-26, a County Invitational, which counts towards the FGC Top 16
program.
First meet of the Top 16
season are in the books. NPB swam to 196 best times and 10 new JO
qualifying times!

NPB Takes 1st in
Butterfly Events at Largo!
Julia Sharp, Casey
Engelhardt and Sophie Morgan made it a clean sweep for NPB on Sunday
winning the 11-12 100 fly, 13-14 100 fly and Open 200 Fly. Casey
Engelhardt qualified for the Sectional Championships with a time of
1:10.72.
NPB had a great showing. 56 swim

FGC Zone Team Selection
The 2005 FGC zone team has been
selected. The team will be traveling to Houston, Texas on August 1,
2005.
Congratulations to Scott Blake for
making the team and Connor Knight is first alternate.
The GOLD
TEAM will begin to practice on Tuesday March 29, 2005. The team has
been created to close the gap between the Blue team and the Senior
Team. The Gold team will practice 6 days a week Monday thru Friday
from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm and on Saturday's from 8:00 am to 10:00 am.
The criteria for the Gold Team is listed below.
Taylor Blake dropped 16 seconds in the
1650 Free on her way to a 23 place finished at the Southern Sectional
Championships in Orlando, Florida. The following week Scott Blake swam to
a 1:57.33 in the 200 IM at the NCSA Junior National. This years Junior
National was the fastest meet in the last 6 years. Both Elizabeth Rogers
and Scott Blake had a great weekend of swimming.

record in the Jr. Olympics held this March in Plantation.She swam the 100 yard Breaststroke in a 1:15.05, which broke the record
set twelve years ago by Sabah Brinson from North Miami Swim Team and eclipsing
Lindsey Martin’s NPB Record of 1:16.32 set in 1989.Keri also won the 50 yard Breast ina34.88 . Congratulations, Keri.Keep up the hard work!
NATIONAL AGE GROUP REPORTABLE TIMES
North Palm Beach had two swimmers
who achieved times fast enough to be submitted for National Ranking in the Top
16 in the nation in their event.BRITTANY LEAR (10) swam the 50 meter Butterfly in 34.13 and OLIVER
BASSE (12) swam the 200 yard Butterfly in
2:12.87.Both surpassed the set standard for their event.Congratulations to you both!!!!!

was selected to the 2003 Florida Gold Coast Zone All-Star Team.He competed in the 15 – 16 Age Group.Each age group is made up of only seven swimmers selected from all of

This Foundation was established in 1994 as a 501C-3

Palm Beach Swim Club a highly successful program for the swimmers in the
northern Palm Beach County area.We
